Monday:  Test on Chapter 1

  • Homework (due Tuesday):  read pages 37-42 (stop at The Aryans in India) and write a response to the following:  what does archeology tell us about the Harappans?  Why must we rely on archeology for our understanding of them?

  • Homework (due Wednesday):  read pages 42-47 (stop at Daily Life in Ancient India) and write a response to the following: in what ways did the Aryans change India?  In what ways did India change the Aryans?
