- What were the major characteristics of hunter-gatherer society (give at least 5)? What lessons can we learn from hunter-gatherers today?
- Homework, due Thursday: read pages 5-8 and write a response to the following:
- List the 7 characteristics of Civilization and discuss how each is still relevant today. Which of the 7 do you consider to be the most important? Which do you consider to be the least important? Why?
- Homework, due Friday: examine the image below. How many of the 7 characteristics of civilization can you find depicted here? Briefly list/describe them.
