- Homework, due Monday: read pages 400-406 (stop at Africa in Transition) and write a response to the following: what is your view of Columbus? Is the world has whole better of or worse of as a result of the "Age of Exploration"
United States History, 5th and 6th Periods

Wednesday/Thursday: Revisiting (early) Modern World
- Homework, due Friday: read pages 37-43 and write a response to the following: compare the Spanish experience with the French experience in North America during the 16th-17th centuries. How did native peoples impact the European experience?
Friday: "New" Spain and "New" France
